2012 EDUCATION/ BISPEGÅRDEN - NEW URBAN TEACHING FACILITIES.

The new teaching facilities frames the old Bispegården and invites for movement and interaction. Bispegården will in the future be a part of the urban passage and atmosphere. The layout is caracterized by a new visual identity for the teaching facilities - Bispegården is visually cut in pieces by the facade of the new building and is thereby transformed and projected into the 2100 century. To ensure enough light to the neighbouring courtyards the building slopes down at specific points related to the old profile of the existing buildings.
